About AIA Labs

AIA Labs is an in-house venture at Bridgewater Associates that is focused on using AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) to generate alpha in markets. Its goal is to develop capabilities that enhance Bridgewater’s existing alpha strategies as well as to manage a dedicated AI/ML strategy for clients who are advanced on their AI journey.

About Your Role

As a Management Administrator, you’ll help the AIA Labs team organize, prioritize and execute work. You will primarily help several of our pillar heads to manage their time and will need to understand their priorities, conflicts and needs. You will be the ‘air traffic controller’ for aspects of the team, responsible for a variety of administrative, operational and workflow management activities. You will manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Our Management Administrator must be highly organized, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and great at time management. They must communicate professionally, enjoy problem solving, and thrive in a dynamic, relationship-driven environment.

You will drive the following responsibilities:

  • Partner with the AIA COO to organize track and execute operations workstreams covering HR, Finance, Projects and other functional areas
  • Meet with your designated stakeholders, help them manage their time and support their key initiatives effectively
  • Coordinate tasks, activities and collaboration sessions to meet AIA Labs needs from visualization to scheduling
  • Facilitate synchronization and communication across the team, by tracking and reporting on status of key activities and keeping knowledge repositories up to date (i.e. Sharepoint, JIRA)
  • Coordinate logistics for clients and team, including travel strategy, events and presentation materials
  • Anticipate and resolve problems efficiently and independently
  • Work with other teams on projects to improve departmental operations

  • Distill information, prioritize well and summarize key points for senior leaders
  • Are a team player who can learn quickly and who can proactively seek to improve efficiency and quality
  • Enjoy solving problems using logic and common sense to develop practical solutions

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience supporting senior management figures
  • Effective written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • A high degree of proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel; general comfort with learning and using new software tools
  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record preferred
  • Experience in financial services or a professional business environment is a plus, though not required

Location Requirements

  • For most of our roles, Bridgewater offers remote work flexibility, with most employees required to work on campus in Westport as their principal work location, a minimum of two days (and in some cases three days) per week with the option to work offsite on other days.

Wage Range

The wage range for this role is $100,000 - $140,000 inclusive of base salary and discretionary bonus. The expected base salary for this role is between 80-90% of this compensation range.
