Job description
BRIGHT, enthusiastic, mature person required for growing medical office in Hillsboro, Oregon.
We have a cheerful clinic with a healing atmosphere, great patients, wonderful doctors, and friendly and efficient staff. We are looking for the right person to join us to help more people achieve better health.
The successful candidate will have some or all of the following:
Responsibilities include:
Training all new front desk staff Clerical assistant to the manager as needed
Operational improvement at FD and overall clinic flow with patient care
Create and manage Front Desk and clinical Employee Schedules
Track and manage weekly, monthly and yearly stats
Assist with employee recruitment and interviewing along with coaching reviews for
some Clinical and all FD team members
Financial Consults for patients- Reviewing insurance coverage, collecting outstanding
balances and setting up/managing daily payments/collections on patients deductible,
co-insurance/copay etc
Assist with general front desk duties as needed including:
Patient check-in
Patient check-out
Scheduling
Answering phones
Payment Processing
Processing/Vetting any NP or Re-Exam paperwork to ensure all necessary documents are
completed-
Assist in checking out NP and Re-Exam patient charts
Appointment request follow-ups
Process medical records requests
Process EOB’s
Send Insurance Authorization paperwork into Insurance companies and Biller
Examine weekly schedule for errors
Investigate patients with no future appointments and call if needed to get them
scheduled again-
Print the end of business reports to review for billing errors, patient visits etc
