Bridgestone Americas is Hiring a Quality System Auditor & Waste Auditor Near Covington, GA

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform routine daily checks of the quality control data and each layer’s approval at each production process.
  • Perform routine daily checks of the waste record and waste material.
  • Audit the accuracy and adequacy of these quality control data based on product specifications, process control value, production history, etc.
  • Audit the accuracy and adequacy of action taken or should be taken based on conformity / non-conformity criteria, judgement procedure based on company standard like hold ticket issue, message to next process, etc.
  • Audit the accuracy of these waste amounts and waste materials based on product specifications, production history, etc.
  • Track the hold history until case closing.
  • Audit the facility condition based on Process Condition Cards by certain frequency.
  • Audit the operations of each process based on standard operating procedure.
  • Study and take the corrective actions if necessary under the supervision of Sr manager quality assurance.
  • Support laboratory technician, Inspection Process if needed.
  • Assists with monthly physical inventory checking of raw materials and finished products.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), with good math and mechanical skills, and two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical procedures, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively in writing, and verbally, with all levels of management and employees.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
