Busy, established, dog-only grooming practice with room for growth and unlimited income opportunity is looking for a groomer to join their team!
Required Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- At least 2-3 years of experience grooming to breed-specific standards is preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in an animal handling or customer service role in a veterinary practice or pet care business is preferred.
- Demonstrate commitment to ethics and integrity.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, positive demeanor.
Job Requirements:
- Utilize grooming instruments such as shears, clippers, dryers, nail clippers, etc.
- Perform grooming services per the client’s instructions.
- Direct customer service experience to establish a trusting bond with our clients.
- High standards for cleanliness to keep your workstation neat.
- Bathing and clipping dogs to conform to a variety of breed-specific standard styles.
- Detangling and removing matted hair.
- Drying the coat.
- Trimming nails.
- Cleaning the ears.
- Brushing teeth.
- Accommodating any special requests from the owner.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the shop and grooming stations.
