Bridges Hospice is hiring a compassionate RN to join our AMAZING team. Must be available from 4:00PM to 8:00AM, Monday through Thursday. Coverage Areas: Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties

What You Will Do:

• The weeknight (RN) will perform emergent visits and or admissions for hospice patients as directed by the triage nurse.
• Perform scheduled visits for transitioning hospice patients.
• Communicate significant finding, problems, patients' needs, report change in condition to physician, Administrator on-call and other team members.
• Obtain physician orders as required.
• Work in collaboration with the IDG to ensure all patients needs are met.
• The RN provides hospice nursing care focusing on pain control and symptom management.

About You:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One (1) to two (2) years of recent hospice experience is preferred.
• Current RN license and valid driver’s license.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills.

Prolonged or considerable walking or standing. Able to lift, position and/or transfer patients. Able to lift supplies and equipment. Considerable reaching, stooping bending, kneeling and/or crouching. Visual acuity and hearing to perform required nursing skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
