Bridges Health is Hiring a Director of Quality Iniatives Near Oklahoma, OK

Summary

The Director of Quality Initiatives reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and is primarily responsible for:

  • Contract and project management
  • Purchasing durable medical supplies for managed facilities
  • Develop, review, oversee, and support assigned policies and procedures

Responsibilities

Working under the direction of the COO and in cooperation with four regional managers, most responsibilities benefit our managed locations, including 33 post-acute/skilled nursing/long-term care and three assisted living facilities.

  • Purchasing: Procurement of durable medical supplies for managed facilities, including the negotiation of price, terms, volume, and delivery. Vendor relationships, including Staples and similar.
  • Contract Administration: Work closely with our legal team. Thoroughly read, analyze, and notate all contracts, negotiate terms, and present to COO and legal for review and approval. Dictate the cadence of the process and carefully manage the calendar of upcoming, renewing, and expiring contracts. Facilitate education reimbursement requests. Manage and maintain fleet vehicles.
  • Credentialing: Manage provider and contractor credentialing processes, ensuring 100% compliance. Oversee certifications for CNAs and CMAs.
  • Policy Development and Support: Develop or refine, implement, support, and oversee processes and policies related to administration, nursing, HR, and other assigned functions. Includes submission for required state and federal reports
  • Project management, as assigned

Desired Traits and Skills

  • The ideal candidate is tenacious, accountable, organized, a self-starter, persuasive and adaptable. You must be a team player with a pleasant demeanor and resilience. Confidentiality is key.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with EMR, HRIS, digital document management (including Docusign) and workflow software

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree

Desired Experience

  • Purchasing, contract negotiation, and credentialing
  • Work in a healthcare setting, specifically post-acute/skilled nursing/long-term care
  • Familiarity with state and federal (CMS) regulations for post-acute/skilled nursing/long-term care
  • Proven success working with organizational leadership

Work Conditions

  • Primarily working at the corporate office in Oklahoma City.
  • Travel up to 25% (mostly instate day trips with occasional overnight stays)
  • Some work occurs outside regular business hours based on travel or assignment urgency, criticality the availability of external resources.
