Bridges Community Action Partnership is hiring a Grant Manager. The Grant Manager will be responsible for managing the grants lifecycle, which includes funding from private foundations, corporate philanthropy, and government/public funds. The Grant Manager will execute pre- and post-award grant processes to ensure compliance with organizational and financial policies. The top priority of this position is to ensure the organization remains compliant with all grantor requirements. This role works independently on a variety of grants/contracts that range from simple to highly complex.
Essential Functions:
Pre-award
- Review grant documents and budgets.
- Prepare budgets by researching current and past grant allocations and cost patterns.
- Conduct research to identify, cultivate and solicit new grants.
- Track due dates, application dates, and award dates in calendars.
- Attend community and other meetings to share information about the grants and how they are being managed.
Post-award
- Oversee delivery and tracking of grant agreements and amendments.
- Submit all funding sources, monthly budgets, and any other reports necessary.
- Submit appropriate documentation and retain records.
Grant Compliance
- Ensure that all grants are in compliance with all laws and grant standards or policies.
- Monthly meetings with staff to ensure everything is compliant.
- Monitor budget.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in public administration, social science or related field preferred.
- Understanding of Community Action history and programs.
- Experience in grants management preferred.
- Above average communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on projects.
