Job Summary:
Certified Nursing Assistants - CNA are members of the healthcare team who assist patients with self-care activities under the supervision of licensed personnel. Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients and visitors. Performs additional services necessary for the patient's personal needs and comfort of the patient.
Certified Nursing Assistant, C.N.A, CNA, Nurse Assistant, Nursing Assistant
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Successful completion of a nursing assistant course approved through Louisiana Regulatory Affairs.
Licenses/Certification: CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant certification required. CPR/BLS required. CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant license in Louisiana required.
Experience: 6 months experience CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant in a Hospital. Medsurg/Telemetry experience preferred.
