Job Description: As a School/Clinical Psychologist with Bridgeline Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work in a school district in Waltham, MA, providing comprehensive psychological services to students. You will conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide counseling to promote students' social-emotional well-being and academic success. This position offers both full-time and part-time options to accommodate your schedule.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths, needs, and learning disabilities
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
  • Provide counseling and therapy to students, addressing various social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
  • Support students in developing coping skills, self-regulation techniques, and problem-solving abilities
  • Monitor students' progress and evaluate the effectiveness of intervention plans
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including educators, administrators, and other related service providers
  • Attend IEP meetings, contribute to the development of behavioral intervention plans, and provide recommendations for appropriate educational placements
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, progress notes, and reports
Qualifications:
  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field
  • Valid state licensure as a Psychologist in Massachusetts
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or clinical setting
  • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including IDEA and Section 504
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills, including experience with cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
