Position Overview:
Bridgeline Staffing is seeking an experienced Middle School Counselor to join our team at a Newton Special Education school, focusing on supporting the social, emotional, and academic well-being of middle school students. This position will be a contract position and will go on until the end of the school year with an opportunity to be hired full-time at the end

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling for students' personal, social, and academic needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop intervention strategies.
• Conduct assessments, facilitate workshops, and serve as a resource for mental health support.
• Maintain accurate student records and stay updated on counseling best practices.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in School Counseling or related field.
• State licensure or certification as a School Counselor.
• Previous experience in middle school counseling.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
