Job Description: Steel Erector

Location: Pickens, SC, 29671

We are seeking a skilled Steel Erector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with fitting steel structures together and putting bridges together. The Steel Erector will be responsible for:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
• Measuring and marking steel components for cutting and shaping
• Using hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fit steel components
• Assembling and fitting steel components together to create structures such as bridges, buildings, and towers
• Ensuring that all components are properly aligned and secured
• Working at heights and in all weather conditions
• Following all safety protocols and procedures

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working as a Steel Erector
• Knowledge of steel fabrication and welding techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy steel components
