Bridge Automation is seeking a visionary and experienced Technical Lead, Data Science to lead our growing team. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our data science projects, from data acquisition to analysis and model deployment, guiding a team of talented data scientists and software engineers. Your guidance and vision will be instrumental in helping us integrate the latest technologies and analytical methods for our manufacturing clients.

What You'll Do:

• Provide strategic vision and technical leadership for the Data Science and Software Engineering team.
• Define the data science roadmap, aligning it with business objectives and project priorities.
• Design, develop, and implement data-driven solutions for industrial client applications.
• Architect and oversee the creation and optimization of data pipelines including data ingestion, processing, analysis, and feature engineering.
• Select, implement, and evaluate appropriate data science techniques and statistical models for various tasks.
• Lead code reviews, establish data science best practices, and ensure high-quality code delivery.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists and software engineers.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define and achieve project goals.
• Oversee DevOps tasks including model deployment strategies (cloud and on-premises).
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and guide the team in acquiring new skills.

Who You Are:

• Degree (or equivalent experience) in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Lead code reviews, establish coding best practices, and ensure high-quality code delivery.
• Mentor and guide junior machine learning and software engineers.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define and meet project goals.
• 5 years of experience leading and delivering data science projects in production.
• Proven track record of building and deploying impactful data-driven solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of statistical methods.
• Extensive experience with Python and data science libraries (Scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and deployment strategies (both cloud and on-premises).
• Solid experience in DevOps practices for data pipelines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Passion for data-driven decision making and a drive to solve complex business problems.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (a plus).

Bonus Points:

• Experience with industrial automation systems and PLCs.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
