We’ve teamed up with the world renowned Sugarshack Music Channel to bring SWFL an innovative dining and music music experience we call Sugarshack Downtown. Our restaurant will be an immersive and unique blend of incredible food, drink, and live music set in the tranquil yet hip downtown area of Old 41 in Bonita Springs, FL.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced bar manager to help create a balanced beverage program for a high volume bar environment. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team, shift management, managing beer/wine/liquor costs, handling accounting as related to the bar, ordering, labor management, and creating a culture of accountability.

Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership:
• Assist the General Manager in managing daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coach and develop team members.

• Beverage Program Excellence:
• Contribute to menu development and innovation.
• Maintain beverage standards and ensure food quality and safety.
• Lead Bartenders in executing menu items efficiently.
• Manage liquor, beer, wine, and supply costs/ordering.
• Guest Experience:
• Foster a fun and energetic environment where guests can enjoy themselves at the highest level.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with the front-of-house manager and team to enhance the overall guest experience.
• Staff Management:
• Recruit, train, and supervise Bar staff.
• Schedule and manage labor goals effectively.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Inventory and Cost Control:
• Monitor and control inventory levels.
• Implement cost-effective measures to optimize resources.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure quality supplies.
• Financial Management:
• Assist in budget development and financial planning.
• Monitor financial performance and contribute to profit optimization.
• Manage cost of good program and prime costs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a beverage/bar manager in a high volume setting.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Financial acumen and budget management experience.
• Proven history of success with drink menu development.
