We are seeking a skilled Hardware Lab Technician specializing in Cloud Hardware to join our team. The Lab Technician will be responsible for executing Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) measurements on test boards and engineering validation boards to validate interconnect performance. The role involves assembling systems or test fixtures, adding instrumentation to devices/boards under test, and performing soldering tasks as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) measurements on test boards and engineering validation boards.
• Assemble systems or test fixtures as needed for measurements.
• Add instrumentation to devices/boards under test to enable high precision measurements.
• Conduct soldering tasks to prepare boards for measurement.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Engineering Technician experience.
• Degrees or certifications in electronics are a plus, but most skills are acquired through on-the-job training.
• Data center/hardware experience is required.
• Previous work experience as an Engineering Technician.
• Experience making electrical measurements on circuit boards using oscilloscope measurements, time domain reflectometry measurements (TDR), or vector network analyzer (VNA).
• Experience assembling computer systems or other complex electrical systems.
• Experience soldering and unsoldering components on circuit boards.

Hard Skills Required:

• VNA Measurement experience 2-3 years
• Hardware/Data Center Experience 2-3 years
• Ability to assemble hardware and solder hardware 2-3 years.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $53.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
