Brickmont Assisted Living is Hiring a Memory Care Director Near Woodstock, GA

Brickmont Assisted Living is looking for an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our growing company. Candidate must have an LPN or be an experienced Med Tech with leadership experience in a memory care environment.

The ideal candidate for this position has prior experience working with residents in an assisted living, memory care or clinical setting. We're looking for an individual who truly cares about the resident's and team members and is always willing to lend a helping hand. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a true interest in patient care to join a team of professionals to help treat and care for our growing population of seniors now and in the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the daily responsibilities and management of our Memory Care Neighborhood.
  • Handles training and leadership for the Med Techs and Caregivers.
  • Responsible for assisting in covering open shifts as needed to maintain state regulatory and company policies for staffing minimums.
  • Covers on call assignment scheduled on a rotation of one week at a time along with other managers.
  • Completes all new resident admissions in MC assuring all paperwork is complete and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
  • Ensures correct medications are on the med cart and available at all times. Verifies new orders and adds to the MAR.
  • Has experience or ability to learn applications used at community for ADL tasks and medication management.
  • Provides overview of community for new resident the day of Move-in to ensure the resident is knowledgeable and comfortable in their new environment.
  • Handles applicants for open positions through Indeed. Schedules and completes interviews for applicants and coordinates with management team for second interviews.
  • Provides initial training to all new employees the day of hire and continues to offer support and additional training as needed throughout employment.
  • Follows current community Covid-19 protocols to assist with a safe and healthy environment for all in the community.
  • Familiar with and enforces employee handbook policies to offer a consistent work environment.
  • Provides assistance and support to all departments in the community as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control protocols.
  • Additional tasks required by direct supervisor.
  • Must be detailed oriented and have an office setting experience with timely and accurate completion of paperwork.
  • Must be flexible with day-to-day routine and be willing to provide med pass or ADL's to resident's as needed and in times of need.
  • Assists in Assisted Living needs during the absence of the Resident Care Director.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
