Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Server to join our team at BrickStreet. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, taking their orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience. If you have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Greet guests and escort them to their tables
- Present menus and answer any questions regarding menu items
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
- Provide attentive service throughout the dining experience
- Anticipate guest needs and fulfill special requests
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required
- Excellent guest relations skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus
