Position Purpose:
The Full-Time Transportation Driver will be responsible for transporting residents and staff in facility vehicles as directed and maintaining necessary logs as directed by the Supervisor. FT Driver is also responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of all Brewster Place vehicles and will ensure vehicles are maintained following the maintenance plan.
Principal Accountabilities and Essential Job Duties
- Transport residents in company vehicles to appointments, special activities, airport, shopping, and other activities.
- Assist residents as needed to maintain their safety in all transportation duties.
- Maintain logs as directed including recording of all services performed.
- Maintain vehicles for cleanliness utilizing power washer, vacuums, and other tools.
- Maintain vehicles maintenance by scheduling oil changes, and other appointments related to upkeep of vehicles.
- Maintain vehicles maintenance logs in an organized manner.
- Conduct all duties with professionalism and work as a team member.
- Complete Transportation billing monthly.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Director of Security.
The days and hours for this position are Tuesday-Saturday 8am-4:30pm. Hours may vary.
Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Valid Kansas Drivers License
- CDL License (preferred)
- Knowledge of Topeka (preferred)
