BREWER OIL is Hiring a RETAIL MANAGER Near Ruidoso, NM

Job Summary: The Grill Manager is responsible for directing the preparation of fresh food to be served at the assigned grill location. The Grill Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards, as well as following established food production programs and procedures. This position is responsible for the appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment, and to minimize loss, waste, and fraud.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: NOTE: Brewer Oil Co. unilaterally may change the requirements of this job description at any time. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. These include, but are not limited to, the following:

Prepare and direct preparation of food served, using established production procedures and systems
Determine amount, type of food, and supplies required, using production systems
Ensure availability of supplies and food, or approved substitutions, in adequate time for preparation
Comply with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards
Observe proper food preparation and handling techniques
Responsible for training Grill Assistant(s)
Responsible for controlling labor expenses, food costs, and inventory
Store food properly and safely, marking date and item
Request necessary equipment repair and maintenance
Oversee the clean up of work area and provide inspection
Ensure proper use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste and fraud
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications (includes education, skills and experience): The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Minimum high school graduate, or equivalent, preferred
Must be a minimum of 17 years of age
Must have reading and writing ability
Prior experience in related food service positions required
Prior experience in supervising food preparation services preferred
Responsible for ensuring that safety processes are followed, including universal precautions and safe work practices
Assist in correcting unsafe working conditions, and requesting equipment repairs and maintenance
Promote positive public relations with customers
Responsible for ensuring that uniform dress code, including personal hygiene, is followed
Regular daily use of slip resistant shoes required

Dependable, self-starter, self-motivated

Extended time standing to provide customer service
Ability to reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, push and pull items weighing a minimum of 50 pounds
Work area contains increased heat levels for extended periods of time
Must use cleaning chemicals and sprays to clean work area
