Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our management team here at Brew City Asset Management. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various apartment complexes located primarily in Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha Counties. This is an important role in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for tenants and guests.
Cleaner will be expected to work roughly 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm (eight hour days) Monday-Thursday. You will have most Fridays-Sunday's off. Occaisonal Friday and Weekend work may be required depending on company's needs. This is a salaried position Monday-Thursday at $3,500 per month. Health Insurance available. Four, 8-hour days is 32 hours per week. Times 4 weeks per month = 128 hours per month. $3,500 salary per month divided by 128 hours equals roughly $27.34 per hour. Additonal hours worked on weekends will be paid at $35 per hour in additon to the salary.
Employee must provide their own vehicle for transport and have a valid drivers liscense. Equipment such as vacuum, carpet cleaners, and cleaning materials will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean units after tenant move-outs including bathrooms, kitchens, appliances, floors, windows etc...
- Clean common areas including hallways, laundry rooms, club houses, pool decks, exercise rooms etc...
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners in common areas
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when replenishment is needed
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines
- Adhere to company policies and regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, and carpet cleaners
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes
- Basic knowledge of custodial and cleaning practices
