The Housekeeping Technician ensures the maintenance of a clean, healthy, and pleasant environment for patients, staff and visitors.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

1. Cleans floors in patient and non-patient care areas; demonstrates correct procedures and sufficient gross and fine motor skills in sweeping and mopping hard surfaces

2. Carries out assignments in a timely manner; cleans areas thoroughly

3. Uses proper materials and equipment for tasks, stocks unit regularly with all cleaning supplies and linen as needed

4. Removes trash and waste from designated areas; ensuring safe and sanitary conditions

5. Maintains documentation and records related to department operations; handwriting is legible

Qualifications

• Education : Reading, writing and math skills required
• Experience : General experience in institutional housekeeping preferred
• Hours : PRN as needed, 7 : AM - 3 : PM / : AM - 7 : PM
