Brenntag is Hiring a Transportation Planner Near North Liberty, IA
- Assigns and tenders LTL and TL shipments to preferred carriers using availability/applicable transportation management systems.
- Organizes and consolidates LTL shipments into truckloads, while reducing transportation expense.
- Monitors shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Assists carriers in resolving issues and communicates to appropriate parties, as necessary.
- Supports shipping locations with rush shipment arrangements and problem resolution.
- Assists JM Swank/JRRW personnel in resolving issues and communicate to appropriate parties, as necessary.
- Acts as liaison between Sales/Customer Service, Transportation, and Warehouse departments.
- Supporting other activities and projects as assigned or dictated by business priorities.
