YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary:

As a Technical Project Manager in the Pharma business unit with a focus on Customized Solutions, you will plan and implement customer-specific projects with special requirements for, among other things, packaging and blending in production processes, quality control, supply chains and storage in North America region.

You can expect a varied and international working environment in cooperation with manufacturers of pharmaceutical products and ingredients as well as their suppliers, third-party providers and ultimately our end customers.

Job Description:

  • Assumption of technical and economic project responsibility, taking into account- cost, resource and quality specifications.
  • Planning and coordination of customer projects from the coordination of the customer enquiry to the delivery of the desired product to the end customer
  • Recording, describing and prioritizing project requirements and goals in coordination with all internal and external stakeholders, such as BRENNTAG North America sites and CMO partners and end customers
  • Coordinating and managing the interfaces involved in the projects, e.g. Sales, QM and application labs
  • Identification, tracking and handling of project risks as well as documentation and reporting of the project status
  • Technical support and organization of training for the Sales & Industry Market Management departments
  • Identifying market potential for customized solutions (including manufacturing, mixing, filling, blending, reprocessing and additional analysis) and expanding the network in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Contract negotiations with third party suppliers and various service companies in the areas of toll manufacturing and Filling, transport, storage and quality control

YOUR PROFILE

Education and Experience:

  • Completed technical or scientific studies related to chemistry, life science or a comparable field of study.
  • Experience in industrial project management in the pharmaceutical or food sector
  • Good communication skills, a structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as self-motivation and hands-on mentality
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Confident handling of the common Microsoft Office programs
  • Full clean drivers license
