Our team in Pomona, Johannesburg currently has an opening for a Team Lead Technical Support – Water Treatment (Contracts Manager)

The Team Lead Technical Support – Water Treatment (Contracts Manager) will be responsible for guiding a team of technical sales professionals dedicated to water treatment customers. The objective is to lead the team in managing service level agreements (SLAs) with clients, ensuring high-quality technical support, and fostering strong customer relationships through expert servicing and issue resolution.

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Service Management:
Oversee the execution of Service Level Agreements (SLA), ensuring customer and supplier technical issues are promptly resolved.
Monitor calls and quality of service, participating in quality assurance calibration to maintain high service standards.
Team management
Lead and mentor a team of Field Service Technicians, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
Plan and distribute technical service tasks among team members, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Customer service delivery
Conduct in-depth analysis of frequent customer complaints develop and implement actionable insights for service improvement.
Escalation Management:
Serve as the first point of contact for complex technical complaints, providing effective troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Account Management:
Oversee the management of SLA accounts, including management of overdue payments.

YOUR PROFILE

Qualification and expertise required
Matric
Tertiary qualification BSC in Chemical/ Mechanical/ Engineering/ Commercial/ Water Treatment
5 years plus experience in technical sales, specifically within the water treatment industry.
Proven track record in team leadership and managing technical service operations.
Demonstrated ability in managing SLAs and customer relationships.
Working knowledge of boilers/ cooling towers/ wastewater treatment systems
Experience managing complex and/or significant customer relationships and key accounts.
Experience with CRM and MS Office]
SAP knowledge advantageous
Valid driver’s License and own vehicle
