REGIONAL PROCESS SAFETY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Our team in Reading currently has an opening for a Regional Process Safety Management Specialist

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary:

To support the Region in running, implementing, and tracking the initiatives connected to the Global PSM program, in collaboration and alignment with the Global QSHE team.

Job Description:

• Work side by side with the local teams in evaluating the maturity level of each pillar of the PSM system that Brenntag decided to adopt (CCPS) and incorporate concepts within the regional required PSM and RMP regulatory programs.
• Perform periodical field visits to identify PSM related strengths and weaknesses, to coach local teams in the “ability to see” process safety related risks.
• Support local teams in preparing, implementing, and tracking action plans to enhance the PSM maturity level of the sites and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.
• Actively contribute to improving the PSM competence at all levels of the organization within the region
• Support the sites in creating a fertile ground able to absorb the above mentioned PSM initiatives and competence development programs.
• Facilitate the process of experience sharing across the sites.
• Support Global QSHE program implementation.

YOUR PROFILE

Education and Experience:

• Chemical Engineering or equivalent bachelor’s degree. Preferred NEBOSH, CCPS or other equivalent certificates
• General project management and organizational skills
• Understanding of regulatory requirements relating to process safety, risk management and general safety
