LAB TECH

Our team in Orlando currently has an opening for a Lab Tech

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage Equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Clean filters as necessary.
• Maintain pH on pit 3 & 4.
• Maintain the necessary chemicals in stock to manage pH .
• Coordinate water removal via trucks as needed.
• Manage water movement to the lift station and to the county.
• Monitor and report on water stream that flow into the water treatment plant.
• Perform analytical water testing as necessary.
• Manage Pits to reduce cost
• Participate in plant safety and other activities

YOUR PROFILE

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma and/or General Educations Diploma (GED), preferred 1 year plus work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual.
• Forklift experience preferred
• Required to lift up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 100 pounds
• Job duties require the work to be performed outdoors for majority of the shift
• Comfortable with the use of a Forklift, and general warehouse duties
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
