Our team in Menomonee Falls currently has an opening for a Lab Tech

Brenntag Great Lakes, LLC is looking to have a Lab Tech join our Menomonee Falls, WI team.

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply advanced Investigative techniques to train, review and analyze, products, processes and customer inquiries
• Apply standard and Identify and apply advanced analytical techniques.
• Confirm material compliance with prescribed specifications.
• Maintain equipment logs.
• Follow established standard operating procedures.
• Review and update quality documents such as Procedures & Batch Instructions
• Assist operations with batch production and Rework.
• Provide assessment and disposition of quarantine product
• Provide analytical data (certificates of analysis) for shipments of material
• Problem solve independently as well as within a team
• Provide and record training/Re-training to shift group or individual employees.
• Proficiency in understanding, implementing and updating Brenntag Great Lakes, LLC Quality Programs and Procedures
• Supply final approval to Quality Reviews of procedures, Q.C. processes, new product & Batch reviews as directed by Quality Control Manager
• Properly perform new methods, worksheets and resource tools.

YOUR PROFILE

• Candidates are preferred a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
• Strong communication skills are required, due to the level of interaction with both vendors and customers.
• Computer literacy is required, with experience in Microsoft word processing, excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Clear English speaking, reading, and writing are required.
• Self-motivated, reliable
• Works independently
• Great interpersonal skills, organized and well written.
