YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary:

To assist assigned Market Managers in their portfolio of key suppliers across North America with a focus on promotion and profitable growth, keeping in mind Brenntag corporate goals as well as supplier target expectations.

Job Description:

• Assist Industry Market Manager (IMM) on assigned group of suppliers on a North American basis (taking care of mid and bottom tier vendors, day to day problems at local level, assist in costing / pricing, put market report market intel together)Vendor dashboard, report
• Coordinate activities with IMM, throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure inventory minimum and established deadlines are met (Code creation, Vendor creation, doc, RFQ, SPR, Financial reporting,
• Participates with sales management, product managers and business units in establishing recommended price changes base on market intel provide by IMM or supplier base increases (tracking volume / product contract, etc,)
• Assist IMM with business units in the creation of product line strategic for select markets
• Support IMM with strategic relationships with key suppliers
• Support IMM collaboration with Regional Operating Companies and process improvements

YOUR PROFILE

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Business; Specialized courses covering target industries would be considered assets
• Previous sales or product experience in the chemical distribution or related industry
• Presentation, communication, and negotiation skills an asset
