Job Summary:

In assigned product categories, optimize GP margin by driving category management and marketing for industry-specific Water Treatment products across North America. Support and develop regional product/service portfolio as well as manage suppliers.

Job Description: 

• Product categories include Biocides, Scale Inhibitors, and Corrosion Inhibitors for water treatment
• Generate and execute strategic initiatives to develop the Water Treatment program in North America
• •Cultivate and maintain value-adding supplier relationships that position Brenntag as the Distributor of Choice for industry-leading suppliers
• Identify market trends, manage new product introductions, and steer product compliance
• Determine potential gaps in product portfolio and qualify possible vendor partners to fill these gaps with respective business units
• Develop strategic, technical, and operational knowledge to help regional Water Treatment teams increase market presence
• Provide technical support to the sales organization and/or other members of the marketing, procurement, regulatory and operations team as required
• Control product cost and optimize margin management 
• Participate with sales management and the business units in establishing recommended price changes based on market intel
• Assist marketing campaigns, activities, content creation.
• Ensure the continued education of our commercial and technical teams through our partners
• Be in regular dialogue with the Regional Water Treatment Managers to make sure goals are aligned
• Additional product categories and/or collateral duties may be assigned as appropriate
• Position is remote-based in U.S. or Canada; estimated travel 25-50%
