YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary:

This individual will be a key part in integrating systems using the latest cloud integration technologies. They will advise Brenntag customers on API design, platform setup & architecture. They will bring in their expertise to define the architecture, processes as well as the deployment or fine tune the existing processes. This role involves close collaboration with architects, development teams and stakeholders.

Key Objectives:

• Extend Support and Development:
  
  • Enhance the full-time presence and capabilities of the global integration team in North America.
• Stabilize Design Architecture:
  
  • Review and stabilize the IT design architecture, leading the integration team in North America.
• Lead Integration Projects:
  
  • Oversee the rollout of commercial platform projects, leveraging MuleSoft, AWS, and Kafka for integration between ERP and CRM systems.
• Stakeholder Management:
  
  • Effectively manage interactions with various stakeholders, maintaining a busy schedule and ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Non-Greenfield Development:
  
  • Focus on stabilizing and improving existing systems and processes rather than building from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership:
  
  • Lead end-to-end integration projects.
  • Manage the rollout of the NA Commercial Platform, ensuring seamless integration between ERP and CRM systems using MuleSoft, AWS, and Kafka.
  • Stabilize and optimize existing IT infrastructure.
• Technical Guidance:
  
  • Provide expertise in API design, platform setup, and architecture.
  • Implement designed solutions and fine-tune existing processes.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce quality gates, and support release management.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  
  • Work closely with architects, development teams, and stakeholders to define architecture, processes, and deployment strategies.
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to drive project progress.
  • Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management, particularly with Salesforce, AWS, and ERP teams.
• Team Management:
  
  • Lead and mentor a global team of 4.
  • Build team capabilities and foster problem-solving skills.
  • Ensure team alignment with project goals and methodologies.

YOUR PROFILE

Education and Experience:

• 5 years’ experience with Integration
• Fluency in both written and spoken English
• Experience working on end-to-end integrations
• Ideally 1 or more MuleSoft Integration Certifications like MCD1, MCPA or MCIA, Azure, AWS
  IT studies or training or professional experience in the IT field
• Sound knowledge of technologies such as Java or C#, JSON, XML, REST / SOAP as well as integration solutions (APIs, ETL, ESB)
• Knowledge of integration with Salesforce and data mapping
• Able to perform code reviews, enforce quality gates and support release management.
• Know-how regarding Integration Platform as a Service (e.g., MuleSoft, Vigience, Solo/Glo, ApiGateway) and Event Technologies (e.g., Kafka, Solace)
• Basic knowledge on Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure components like Docker, Kubernetes, Networks/VPNs, etc.
• Project-related mobility
