**YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**

Brenntag Mid-South is now hiring an experienced Customer Service Specialist for our location in Henderson, Kentucky.

Customer Service Specialists are responsible for ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction and liaising between

internal teams and our customers. Beyond the role of a Customer Service Representative, these professionals are required to

develop strategies to improve customer response times, accuracy of deliveries and overall service execution.

Customer Service Specialists will act as the Troubleshooter and work with local teams to align customer requirements and

expectations with internal capabilities for a successful Customer Service experience.

Customer Service Specialists are identified leaders within our organization who have the ability to consistently provide a

positive experience for existing and potential customers. These individuals are required to have the skills to foster pathways

for increased internal communication and have the ability to take meaningful action to prioritize appropriately for increased

team productivity.

Role Responsibilities:

Service Excellence:

Responsible for leading initiatives to create visibility: increased visibility for internal teams will lead to increased service

levels and an enhanced customer experience

Responsible for Back Order reporting, aligning Inventory improvements and coordination: reporting and clear

communication to internal teams (3 day delivery forecast / predictive report)

Bulk delivery reporting by branch: responsible for daily report to provide clarity into bulk capacity by branch against open

orders

Container reporting: responsible for tracking by branch, trouble shooting returns not entered by driver and monthly

communication to Branch leaders regarding open container status

EOM Billing Responsibilities: goal of 100% Brenntag delivered BOLs billed and responsible for coordinating with Corporate

on 3rd party billing. Bi-monthly and EOM reporting to CSM and Branch Manager.

Responsible for Customer Payments: Checks and Credit Card Payments

Lead initiatives to reduce Customer Credit challenges:

1. Responsible for scheduling and leading monthly meetings with Credit analyst, Branch Manager and CSM to review open

items, delinquent customers, # of short pays, etc.

2. Monthly meeting will produce actionable items for each team to reached desired outcome: increase customer's ease of

doing business with Brenntag, while optimizing cash collection and reducing DSO.

3. Focused efforts to increase accuracy and timeliness of billing practices.

4. Assist and take accountability as it relates to processes POD related challenges.

BOL Adjustments: Responsible for BOLs that have printed and adjustments are needed. For ex. pricing. Approval by

Commercial Management required.

Team Back Up Responsibilities: Responsible for backing up RCSM and/or CSR Territories as needed

Assist in Training and Onboarding: Responsible for training duties given by CSM for new CSRs and team members

Operational Excellence:

Job 7: Manage Job 7 initiatives that align with Customer Service and Commercial goals, while working with Operations on

root cause and creating a team led solution - full project life cycle.

Restricted Products: Responsible for specified region, creating documentation, communication and maintaining data flow

process for identified list of restricted products by branch, and by customer.

Double Checking BOLs: accountable for taking the lead on any Double Checks that CSRs are unable to complete

throughout the day and responsible for double checking highly sensitive orders or specified customers (based on need).

Digital BOL Management: Responsible for delegating BOL scanning duties to CSR team and working with RCSM to

prioritize BOL scanning. Desired outcome is immediate access to BOLs for data verification and increased billing efficiencies.

Commercial Excellence:

New Customer Set Up: provide internal support to Commercial team for setting up new accounts, along with initial

customer requirement input, delivery requirements, contacts, etc. This includes adding new ship tos and aligned delivery

requirements into the system.

Sample Management and Process Flow: Responsible for entering, communicating lead times/tracking #s, following up

and confirming delivery for all Commercial samples for specified region. Sample management includes both producer and

internal sample requests. Salesforce use and excellent communication with Lab manager / Ops team is required.

Additionally ,responsible for monthly summary / reporting to Commercial Manager.

Customer Service and Commercial Alignment : responsible for supporting RCSM and Commercial needs as territories

shift and CSR re-alignment may be in transition.

Monthly Pricing and Market Based Price Changes: responsible for supporting commercial led monthly pricing input into

Customer pricing record/profile and supporting price changes aligned with market led price changes or minimums.

**YOUR PROFILE**

High School Diploma or GED

Strong computer skills, MS Office
