Monitor and Drive the continuousflow of communication, paperwork and information between the shop and the FleetManager.
Works closely with Fleet Managerand Mechanics to ensure proper documentation, reporting, and tracking of alljob orders and inventory.
Perform preventative maintenance and otherrepair and maintenance of trucks and tankers as needed.
Observes safety and securityprocedures; determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; reportspotentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
Planning, assigning, and directingwork of Mechanics at assigned location.
Carries out supervisoryresponsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicablelaws.
Assisting with the hiring processincluding interviewing and training.
Appraising performance and issuingPerformance Improvement Plans.
Addressing complaints and resolvingproblems.
