Position Overview

**This is a fully remote position. Candidate must reside in California, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, or Utah**

The Instrumentation Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales of instrumentation products and solutions to various industries. The role involves developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and providing technical expertise to support customer needs.

Job Duties:

  •  Demonstrate a deep understanding of instrumentation products, their applications, and benefits.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Identify and target potential customers within assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Generate and qualify leads through networking and attending industry events.
  • Manage sales pipeline and keep detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM software.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the sales department.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong understanding of instrumentation products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the instrumentation sector.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time in the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Flexibility to attend industry events and customer meetings outside of regular business hours.
