Job Description

As the Community Banker Team Lead, you will direct the Consumer Bankers (CB) – Small Business team within a branch or multiple branches. You will provide leadership and functions as a sales coach for small business team members and assists with their training and development. In addition, you will support clients’ banking needs by completing a variety of banking transactions in compliance with all applicable standards, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • May guide and direct teller operations and responsible for implementing policies and procedures in relation to customer operations.
  • May supervise balancing and summarizing daily business and cash.
  • Supervises all record keeping aspects of the new account functions.
  • Coordinates and assists with teller and banker training.
  • May oversee compliance with security practices and monitor security equipment.
  • Plans, organizes and assigns the work flow of the consumer banker staff.
  • Exercises authority as defined to make exceptions to policy and procedures.
  • Ensures effective relationship management principles are implemented and followed.
  • Responsible to handle more complex customer complaints and questions.
  • Works in collaboration with market leadership to ensure cohesive relationship management delivery in alignment with our One Bremer focus.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Combination of education and experience generally acquired through the attainment of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 plus years of financial/banking experience along with 1 plus years of supervisory experience desirable.
  • Experience in sales or promotion of products and services is preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate and consistently model Bremer Relationship Management values, Bremer C3 Leadership Competencies and foster an inclusive work environment.
  • Must be eligible to hold NMLS credentials; must complete all required training in order to apply for NMLS credentials.
