Qualified candidates should have:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• 5 – 7 years of quality experience
• Statistical Process Control
• PPAP, 6 Sigma, TS/ AIG

Responsibilities include:

• Manage daily issues with quality staff: Provide feedback on performance of staff members and assist in making decisions.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures: Ensure that proper policies and procedures are followed. Provide feedback to other management staff members. Communicate performance expectations to employees.
• Supervise employee performance: Complete annual performance expectations to employees. Complete annual performance reviews. Guidance is delivered when and where needed. Ensure that communications are open and honest.
• Maintain department budget: Approve purchase requisitions where needed. Promote state of the art quality expectations. Communicate any issues in daily production meeting.
• Ensure issues are brought to daily and regularly scheduled meetings: Communicate issues to department staff. Review issues when and where needed. Ensure proper housekeeping practices.
• Maintain and improve the quality standard of the department's operations: Promote continuous improvement in daily activities. Provide feedback where needed. Automate daily computer activities when and where applicable.
