POSITION: Integrated Science Teacher

LOCATION: Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School

EFFECTIVE: August 12, 2024

CONTRACT: 186 days

Certified Job Description 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher 
  • Current Ohio Certification-Integrated Science 7-12
  • BCI and FBI Criminal Record Check in Accordance with ORC 3319.391
  • Complies with the required renewal coursework or professional development plan as approved by the local professional development committee or a valid license issued by the respective professional Ohio board.
  • Embraces high-performance standards (e.g., engagement, proficiency, resilience, etc.).
  • Maintains a record free of criminal violations that prohibit public school employment.
  • Acts according to the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to work effectively with others
  • Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively both orally and in writing 
  • Effective, active listening skills
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills

SalaryThe starting salary will depend upon the candidate's experience and training.
