We are seeking a Specialty Medicine NP/PA to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. Our services include office based continuity care in pulmonology and sleep medicine as well as nursing home/rehabilitation center patient rounding. We are primarily looking for someone to round on nursing home patients for new and follow up pulmonary consults. This is a flexible hours job, minimum of 16-20 hours per week, and can round on patients in NH at provider's discretion; morning, afternoon or evening. The provider can work for more hours if needed and the compensation will be based on productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
