• Record accurate data, evidence, testimonies, and statements in comprehensive reports as part of the insurance claims process
• Commit to continuing your education regarding policy changes and insurance industry updates to adequately process and fulfill claims
• Evaluate damage and liability by conducting necessary investigations that can include interviewing witnesses, reviewing police reports, consulting hospital records, and communicating effectively with claimants
• Receive, process, and investigate a variety of claims to verify whether specific insurance policies and insurance coverage apply prior to determine claim settlements
• Work with attorneys to defend insurer if a claim is contested and effectively negotiate with claimants to settle claims

• Must be able to sell insurance jobs
• Must be familiar with Xactimate
• Write and review estimates in a timely manner
• Works directly with insurance companies on supplements and claims

• Superb ability to achieve customer satisfaction through integrity, critical-thinking, negotiation, and clear communication
• Demonstrated understanding of insurance industry claims and processes and proven comprehension of relevant state and federal regulations
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office required; demonstrated use of account software is beneficial
• Master of prioritizing and effective time management to remain organized while fielding simultaneous claims
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma mandatory
