We're a NEW casual breakfast food truck looking for a motivated Runner/Expo/Prep employee to start out part time (possible full time) willing to learn and grow.

This is NOT your typical food service job... We're looking for someone interested in working with us long-term (at least a year, ideally longer) to eventually become a leader, manager, and an executive with company incentives like salaried positions, bonuses, and company equity/stock.

Our Assistant Manager is a critical role helping the Line Cook and Cashier ensure smooth operations for fulfilling customer orders.

This is a great opportunity to start with a growing business and a new food truck concept in Austin TX.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

• Open/close trailer
• Inventory Management
• Prepare orders accurately (sandwiches, sauces, and sides) quickly alongside to help the Line Cook and Customer Service team members
• Have a strong attention to detail (Be able to accurately prepare orders with different options for customers at close to 100% accuracy)
• Ensure the kitchen ingredients for the Line Cook and Cashier are stocked
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Follow all food service regulations and safety standards
• Serve customers their orders at the pickup window (orders from in-person and delivery apps)
• Take orders as cashier or help support cashier (when necessary)

Requirements:

• At least two years as an Assistant Manager or Manager, experience managing people in the hospitality space
• Must have, or be willing to take course for, Texas Food Handler license
• Proven experience in a professional kitchen setting
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
• Can handle pressure effectively
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
• Culinary degree is a plus, but not required
• Background Check required
• Drug Test Screening required
