Break Free Pelvic Health & Wellness is Hiring a Front Office Manager/Patient Care Coordinator Near Johns Island, SC

Break Free Pelvic Health & Wellness is a private physical occupational therapy practice specializing in pelvic rehabilitation. We are a small outpatient practice with 3 therapists. We provide physical occupational therapy services for women, men and children with pelvic floor dysfunction which includes a range of symptoms and diagnoses affecting bladder, bowel, sexual function as well as orthopedic pain. We are looking for a compassionate and highly organized front desk manager/patient care coordinator to join our team. Must be kind, empathetic and friendly who will help to maintain the positive energy and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations
  • Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring accurate demographic information, payment information and schedule
  • Help patients navigate out-of-network insurance claim submittals and superbills
  • Collect and process payments via credit cards, HSA/FSA, check and cash
  • Ability to use computer and learn electronic medical record system for patient records, scheduling and payment
  • Manage medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their needs and concerns
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Ability to learn medical terminology and diagnoses specific to patient inquires and communication with healthcare professionals
  • Manage presentation of front office to include basic cleanliness and professionalism
  • Track inventory and make orders for front office and therapy supplies
  • Maintain weekly and monthly reports and communicating to staff
  • Ability to create and manage excel spreadsheets for call logs and patient follow up

Qualifications:

  • No prior medical office experience necessary, however must have exceptional customer service and the desire to communicate with people daily in a sensitive and caring manner
  • Knowledge of or experience with scheduling and payment systems, fax, scanner (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to multitask including answering phone calls, maintaining schedule, filing documents, communicating to staff and patients
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:45AM to 5:30PM with daily 1 hour lunch break
