  • The Company’s service territory covers 46 counties in North Carolina (36 counties), South Carolina (5 counties), and Virginia (5 counties). Notable metropolitan areas within our service territory include Charlotte, the Triad, Columbia, and Blacksburg / Roanoke.
  • Our journey is only beginning as by the beginning of September 2022, we will have 2 operating units…..which means, the opportunities for professional growth are tremendous.

  • Benefits include competitive base salaries (General Managers: $50,000 - $65,000; Assistant General Managers: $40,000 - $55,000), PLUS strong incentive opportunities (up to $1,400 / month for General Managers and $750 / month for Assistant General Managers and additional incentives for certain operational scores (e.g., Steritech)), PLUS health benefits with a significant contribution to premiums provided by Break Bread Ventures (e.g., General Managers have Employee-only premiums fully covered for medical coverage), PLUS PTO (3 weeks for a GM, 2 weeks for an AGM), and more.

The Opportunity

We are looking for growth-minded folks to help us build our brand!

Our goals over the next 18 months include:

  • Open an additional 10 units (goal is to open between 4 – 6 units / year. In addition to the 2 units we will have open by 9/1/22 (Unit 1 opened 3/1/22 and Unit 2 will open 8/29/22), we have 5 units that are either under construction or under development that we expect to be open before 6/1/23.
  • As our unit count grows, we will add more senior level managerial positions (District Managers) as well as corporate support staff (Human Resources, Marketing, etc.).
  • Our goals also include building infrastructure that allows Break Bread Ventures to ACT on our mission statement of caring for people (e.g., establishment of mentor programs, employee-focused “love-acts” fund that assists in meeting the unique financial needs of our employees, career development, etc.

Your Impact

  • Responsibilities will include stewardship of lives presented to you day-to-day, whether team members, community members, or guests. What we mean by stewardship is a focus on how to improve the lives of those you interact with every day.
  • More specific responsibilities include the operational oversight of a unit(s) which involves adept focus on labor and food cost management, food quality, overall P&L oversight, training and development of people, and ensuring the guest experience is exceptional.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have been previously or is currently employed in a leadership role at Chick-fil-A.
  • Demonstrated track record of serving others well (can be reflected in recognition for service, organizations that you are involved that have a focus on service, etc.).
  • Desires to reach greater management heights that will afford both more financial opportunity AND more opportunity to serve.
  • Candidates that are NOT content with the status quo but want to drive operational excellence, people development, and a remarkable guest experience.
  • Most simply, the ideal candidate will have a desire to change the world, through service and selflessness, in the food-services sector.
