BASIC FUNCTION
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Provide dental care and treatment
- Supervise preventive and routine dental care including
- Manage dental emergencies and pain relief
- Conduct dental screenings and assessments
- Educate and counsel patients
- Maintain accurate dental records and documentation
- Collaborate with the dental team and other healthcare professionals
- Stay abreast of dental advancements and best practices
9. Performs other duties as assigned
a. Effectively carries out task and responsibilities beyond core job duties and primary role. The additional duties may vary from time to time and encompass a wide range of activities that contribute to the overall success of the organization. (Floating, schedule variations, assisting co-workers, patients, visitors, customers, leaders, and other stakeholders in support of the organization.)
PROFESSIONAL/TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- The successful candidate should have at a minimum good communication and must also meet the aptitude requirements listed in this description. Exceptional organizational skills are needed.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
- Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Computer, monitor, facsimile (fax) machine, copier, telephone and other standard office equipment.
