Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant and ensure exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities:

- Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of restaurant operations

- Supervise and train staff members, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback

- Collaborate with department heads to ensure smooth operations across all departments

- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly

- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs

- Assist with social media marketing efforts & event planning

- Assist in creating and implementing policies and procedures to enhance guest experiences

- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to maintain cleanliness and quality standards

- Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling expenses

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, inventory management, staff management, and social media marketing

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with guests, staff, and vendors

- Proven experience in interviewing, hiring, training, and supervising employees

- Knowledge of culinary practices and food handling regulations

- Proficient in computer systems/software

- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving issues
