Responsibilities

Brasfield & Gorrie LLC. has an internship opportunity with the Learning & Development team for the summer of 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, assertive, operate with a positive attitude, and have a strong work ethic. In this role, employees are asked to contribute to a variety of projects, will learn about learning development models, and will apply project management principles to their work. This position will provide valuable experience to candidates who enjoy making a difference and helping people grow.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with various stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify training needs
• Apply learning theories into practical application
• Learn how to utilize the learning management system
• Training program support: work with Learning & Development Partners to help plan for and execute programs – both in-person and virtually – such as Foundations (early career programs), new employee engagement events, and subject specific virtual training
  • Work to make presentations interactive and engaging
  • Communicate with training attendees and presenters
  • Facilitate a soft-skill subject to a group
  • Serve as Producer for a virtual instructor led session
  • Analyze survey feedback and showcase data into dashboards
• Other responsibilities assigned based on interests, skills, and schedule of events

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience

Education / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications / Experience:

• College students majoring in Communication Studies, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Adult Education, General Business, or related field
• Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative, self-motivated, proactive, eager to learn
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint)
• Takes pride in quality of work, writing skills, document formatting, and visual appeal
• Minimum cumulative GPA = 3.0

This is a full-time summer internship in our Atlanta office.
