Job Description - Quality Technician

Purpose

• Responsible for auditing incoming vehicles, in process and finishing product before shipping at dock audit stage.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform product audits as required at incoming, production and finished product.
• Verify and inspect startup of production (Quality Checklist and Torque Tools as needed).
• Verify components to the design intent and record the data as required.
• Support problem solving activities, as required.
• Perform on a weekly basis quality tasks: Torque Audit inspection, Scrap monitoring and Hold Cage control.
• Support during containment activities at production and/or customer site as needed.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned related to the vehicles.

Education and Experience

• 1 years’ experience in an automotive production environment, preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Experience working in a team environment is highly desired.

Physical Demands

• Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amounts of work at a computer, requires local support at Customer Facility, and must be able to squat and lift up to fifty pounds.

• associated with the work or research. This should be conducted in conjunction with other relevant staff, researchers and
• the supervisor.
• Report OH&S problems.
• Report workplace hazards to the supervisor as soon as possible after they occur.
• Report injury or illness arising from workplace activities using the incident/injury reporting system as soon as possible after
• the incident.
• Ensure employees receive adequate H&S training.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Complete monthly H&S inspections as needed.
• Ensure the H&S policies are implemented and enforced.
• Strive for 100% compliance in all EHS laws and regulations.
• Complete quarterly H&S inspections as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour
