Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
● Lead and mentor a high-performance team of process engineers.
● Provide guidance to meet project deadlines, quality standards and successful project
completion.
● Assign projects, provide guidance, and ensure successful project completion.
Process Improvement:
● Collaboration: Coordinate with Operations, Quality, and Product Development to
meet KPIs. Support Quality Control activities, corrective action reviews, and root
cause analysis.
● Drive initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, focusing on cost reduction and
increased efficiency.
● Implement best practices and innovative solutions
Automotive Expertise:
● Utilize extensive automotive experience to meet OEM demands.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering processes with industry
standards.
Program Launches:
● Project Management: Track and report project statistics, timelines, and budgets to
ensure successful execution.
● Play a key role in launching new programs, ensuring seamless integration and timely
delivery.
Process Engineering:
● Use deep process engineering knowledge to analyze and improve existing
processes.
● Collaborate with product engineering for new process development.
Customer Relationship Management:
● Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their
needs.
● Align engineering strategies with partners for successful collaboration.
Minimum Required Skills / Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
● 10 years of engineering experience.
● 5 years managing technical teams.
● 3 years in automotive engineering.
● Competent in business financial reports and data analysis tools.
● Substantial process engineering background.
● Experience in program launches within the automotive industry.
● Strong understanding of OEM demands.
Preferred Skills / Experience:
● Lean or Six Sigma certified.
● Master’s degree in engineering or related field.
