We are looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for the overall management of the Delaware City Refinery multicraft maintenance, capital, and turnaround operations with direct responsibility to the service provided, including operational execution, EHS compliance, contract management, operational analytics collection, and site-level productivity. The position will report to the Northeast Area Manager.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead multi-craft team in the execution of maintenance, capital, and turnaround operations including EHS and administrative functions.
  • Ensure overall contract compliance. Work with internal and external stakeholders to meet Operational, EHS and administrative deliverables.
  • Work with area Superintendents to staff manpower needs based on project ebbs and flows.
  • Work with site team leads to ensure customer staffing is met daily.
  • Develop work methods in service of customer needs. Must have firm knowledge of multicraft operational functions.
  • Coordinate budget and schedule input as needed to service customer.
  • Engage and participate in the monthly operating rhythm of the branch including timely billing, job cost/status reporting, tag log tracking.
  • Support company EHS policies and procedures and leverage the EHS team to gain positive outcomes for our team members.
  • Drive compliance with and participation in BrandSafway’s behavior-based safety systems.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or another technical field from an accredited university
  • 5 years relevant industry experience (construction services, manufacturing, petrochemical, refinery, power). 10 years in lieu of degree.
  • Military leadership experience considered a major plus
  • Operational/field experience in the construction, manufacturing, or other industrial environments, with a proven understanding of productivity drivers
  • Understand scheduling techniques, estimating, change management, risk management, and progress reporting methods.
  • Intermediate knowledge and experience with MS Excel a plus.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Significant experience operating in team environments
  • Must be able to take a large amount of data and information (big ideas/strategy) and present in concise terms in order to support project execution
