Registered Nurse Assistant Director of Nursing

General Description of Assistant Director of Nursing ADMS - RN license Required
Responsible for performing a variety of duties to provide quality nursing care to residents and to: coordinate total nursing care for residents; implement specific procedures and programs; participate with the Director of Nursing Services and the Nurse Manager in establishing specific goals; determine work procedures and expediting work flow; comply with all operating policies and procedures, state requirements, Department of Health regulations, and Federal Health Care Administration regulations; communicate with and supervise appropriate personnel; provide daily reports and other periodic reports, and, perform other appropriate nursing duties as needed.

Other Duties of Assistant Director of Nursing
Provides hands on nursing care to residents as needed as a registered professional nurse or licensed practical nurse, consistent with the state's Nurse Practice Act.
Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but
which may be altered or redesigned depending upon individual circumstances. Performs other work duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education/Training: Maintains a current, valid license as a registered nurse in good standing. Must have current CPR certification.
