Description:
The Senior Software Test Engineer - Automation applies a detail-oriented approach to functional and non-functional testing, is capable of comprehending and reviewing requirements and specifications in order to properly plan automated and manual testing strategies accordingly, instinctively understands how to communicate and reproduce test results, and applies their thorough understanding of user needs and use cases to prioritize testing appropriately. The Senior Software Test Engineer - Automation is a vital part of ensuring the quality of all product and solution deliverables, working both as a part of the delivery team and within the QA functional team under the leadership of BN's Director of Technology.

• Assist with development of automation test strategies for BN products
• Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
• Assist with manual software testing to ensure timely delivery of products to stakeholders

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related professional experience
• 8 years of experience in software quality assurance
• 4 years of experience with automated testing tools
• Ability to mentor and train junior team members.
• Familiarity with web-based software development
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Rational, analytical, and logical with strong troubleshooting skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Be a team player, looking to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience with JIRA, Robot, Playwright, Docker, Jenkins, and Python a plus

Pay Rate:
$90,000 - $110,000 base salary
