Branch is searching for an experienced, dependable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our well-established, growing company. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing our fleet of heavy equipment, small equipment and tools, and on-road vehicles.
* Comply with all BCI, OSHA, or other relevant safety rules and regulations
* Conduct all business with a professional and respectful attitude
* Inspect, service, and repair as a needed fleet of heavy equipment, small equipment and tools, and on-road vehicles including medium to heavy-duty trucks as assigned by EO management.
* Other mechanical duties and tasks as requested by Equipment Operations Foreperson
* Communicate equipment status and readiness with equipment operations management.
* Maintain records and paperwork as required in a timely and legible manner
* Own and maintain industry-standard basic tools required to perform heavy equipment repair tasks

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste and smell. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
This is a full-time position which will typically involve 40 hours a week. Due to the nature of the job, the employee must be available on-call early/late hours to deal with delays, bad weather and emergencies at the job site.
