Automotive Accounts Receivable Associate Responsibilities
· Responsible for inputting invoices on a daily basis
· Makes payments of daily and monthly invoices in a timely manner
· Reconciles accounts payable statements prior to payment
· Reconciles manufacturer monthly statements/ If credit responsible for collecting
· Responsible for issuing of daily on demand checks
· Responsible for maintenance of assigned schedules (list will be supplied)
· Responsible for completing month end AP close within 3 working days
· Maintains accurate vendor check list and accrues for any missing invoices
· Responsible for the reconciliation of open accounts
· Collects AR from vendors
Automotive Accounts Payable Associate Qualifications
· Individuals employed in this position must be able to understand accounting principles including debits and credits
· Individuals employed in this position must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions and management
· Individuals employed in this position must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Individuals employed in this position must be able to read, and generally analyze and interpret relevant business periodical, professional journals, technical procedures and/or government regulations and write reports and general business correspondence
· Individuals employed in this position must demonstrate sufficient computer literacy
· Individuals employed in this position must have excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills; cultural sensitivity and demonstrates ability to work with diverse people groups
· Individuals employed in this position must possess a positive attitude and commitment to adhere to and administer company policies, procedures and standards
